Life and Health Science Division

Welcome to the Life and Health Sciences Division. The Division is composed of three departments: Biology, HOPE (Health, Outdoor, and Physical education), and Nursing.  Selection of one of our specializations of study will open multiple career options. The courses you select will form a strong foundation whether you choose to transfer to a four-year college or accept an entry-level position in the work force.  (See programs of study and degrees listed below our faculty and staff.)

Whatever your chosen field, you will be challenged in the Life and Health Science Division by an exciting Capstone course experience at the end of your studies. The experience may an internship in teaching or coaching, a research project in biology, an outdoor leadership project, a nursing clinical, an internship in recreation, or working in a health clinic, as well as other opportunities.

Academic scholarships are available for students interested in studying a specific program in the Life and Health Science Division. Since the athletic coaches are also faculty members in our division , it's easy to combine academic scholarships with aid you may receive from athletic scholarships.
