Instructional Technology

Purpose

The Instructional Technology Center was developed to support all aspects of instructional technology at Northwest College. Our goal is to assist faculty to incorporate appropriate technology into the curriculum to enhance student learning.

Our Services

We aim to make it as easy as possible for faculty to integrate available technologies to supplement their teaching in a meaningful way. We also strive to assist students in this endeavor whenever possible. Our services are available to all full and part-time faculty.

Instructional Technology Tools

The Instructional Technology Coordinator and tech savvy students are available for individual consultation and provide development support for a variety of instructional technologies, including:

• Online Course Development using Blackboard CE
• Communication Tools
• Class Presentation Materials and Tools
• Audio Visual Equipment

If you are considering a project, or would like assistance with a current one, we recommend that you request an appointment to meet with the Instructional Technology Coordinator who can help you to analyze an instructional situation and match it with the appropriate technology.
