Majors / Programs



The study of biology is designed to acquaint students with the structure and function of living organisms and to instill appreciation of some of the ecological relationships existing in the world of life. Biology courses at Northwest parallel those found at four-year institutions and should transfer without difficulty. Recommended courses are designed to aid students in completing their four-year degrees as well as providing basic understanding of the biological sciences.

Geneticist, Science Teacher, Medical Microbiologist, Physiologist, Botanist, Zoologist, Fish Hatchery Technician, Park Service Interpreter, County Extension Agent
