Majors / Programs

Graphic Design

Graphic designers combine art and technology to communicate ideas in visual form. Coursework focuses on developing creativity and technical proficiency. Our facilities feature a working print shop and state of the art Macintosh computer labs.
Students may choose from two degree options: The Associate of Arts in Graphic Design is a course of study for students who intend to transfer to professional art schools or universities to complete a baccalaureate degree in graphic design. The Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design is a two-year technical program that prepares students for entry-level employment in a variety of specialized design services such as publishing, prepress, and printing.
