Journalism - Print

Overview

This degree allows students to specialize in journalism with an emphasis in print media. Students learn to gather news and information, edit, write, and layout publications. It is designed to allow both classroom experiences and hands-on involvement with the college's student newspaper, The Northwest Trail, which has repeatedly been recognized with awards for excellence in journalism.
