Secondary Education

This specialization allows the student to prepare for a career as an educator, teaching classes from the 7th through 12th grades. Students wanting to teach at the secondary school level select a major field of study and are advised by a professor in that field. Additionally, students must take the core education courses to prepare for the teaching profession. Sophomore practicum is an important and exciting part of this program.
