Sociology examines human interactions and provides valuable insights into the social structures of race, ethnicity, gender, age, education, organizations, and social class. Sociology better informs members of society and invites them to take a more objective and critical perspective of their world. This specialization allows students to obtain the foundation for pursuing any of a number of careers in this area.
