NWC students with a 3.0 transfer GPA get in-state tuition. Students transferring with an Associate in Arts will have to complete 6 credits of upper-division general studies. Students transferring with an Associate in Science or an Associate in Applied Science can transfer up to 70 credits and will have to take some additional classes to meet all of Chadron's General Education Requirements.
Chadron's General Education Requirements are the following: 6 credits of Composition; 3 credits of Communication; 3 credits of Math; 3 credits of Humanities; 3 credits of Fine Arts; 6 credits of Science (one course must have a lab); 3 credits of Government; 6 credits of History; 3 credits of Health/Wellness; 2 credits of Physical Activities; 6 credits of Global & Social Awareness (3 credits must be upper division); and 3 credits of Reason & Value.

- Gen ed requirerments fulfilled with Associate's degree
Other Important Information
PTK (Phi Theta Kappa) Award- Two years of In-state Tuition (3.5 GPA, active in PTK, earned an Associates Degree & plan to attend CSC full-time the next semester following graduation).
