Northwest offers music activity scholarships to students of all majors. Scholarships are based on performing ability and on participation in our nationally recognized performing ensembles.
Amounts awarded range from $ 500 to well over $ 2,000 per year. A $ 2,000 scholarship to Northwest may be worth more than $ 40,000 in scholarship offers at many expensive private schools when considering differences in tuition expenses. Ray and Nancianna Nott Music Scholarship Endowment Academic Scholarships Northwest College also offers merit based scholarships for students with high academic standing. Please click here for information on these scholarships o A Merit-based Scholarship for the 2008/2009 academic year is contingent upon enrollment the fall semester immediately following the student's high school graduation. The student must have at least a 3.75 cumulative GPA and a 23 Composite ACT score or equivalent*, provide a 7 th semester high school transcript, and complete the Scholarship Day Application. o To be considered for a Merit-based Scholarship, students must complete the Scholarship Day Application and return the completed application and all attachments to Northwest College 's Office of Enrollment Services by Scholarship Day, December 3, 2007 . The number of awards is contingent upon available funds; please apply early. o This scholarship is equal to in-state, full-time tuition for up to 20 credits. Recipients must live in college housing**. This scholarship automatically renews for up to four consecutive semesters if 3.5 cumulative GPA and full-time status are maintained. |
