Summer Music Camp @ Northwest College


18th Annual Band & Choir Camp for JH & HS Students
June 22 - 27, 2008

This summer Northwest College will host the 18th Annual Yellowstone Summer Music Camp on the beautiful Northwest campus in Powell, Wyoming. This camp has grown to attract over 150 students from six states. Students perform in bands, choirs, jazz bands, handbell choirs, and small ensembles during the week. Special interest classes include master classes in all instruments, music theory, computer composing, single reed adjusting, double reed, web design, fun & fitness, and many others. Students are supervised in the residence halls from Sunday thru the end of the camp on Friday afternoon by a team of counselors. Evenings are filled with a variety of music recitals and recreational activities. Band students must have completed at least one year of band in their middle school.

Band Allstate Scholarships - June Camp If your student was selected for an allstate band band during the 2007/08 school year they are eligible to attend the music camp for only $200. Please note that only two students for each instrument are eligible for this scholarship. See the website for the current availability.

Choir Allstate Scholarships - June Camp If your student was selected for an allstate choir during the 2007/08 school year they are eligible to attend the music camp for only $200 Please note that only three students for each voice are eligible for this scholarship. See the website for the current availability.

Senior Scholarship Northwest offers scholarships to the June camp for students who will be entering their senior year. click here

Camp refund Policy:
If cancellation is received before June 1 - all fees paid will be refunded except for a $15 processing fee
If cancelled at least one week prior to camp, but after June 1 all fees will be refunded except for the $125 deposit
If cancelled within the week before camp no refunds - if you find someone of the same instrument and gender to take your place all fees will be returned upon payment of camp fees by the replacment

Students with special needs must contact the camp director one month prior to the camp
