Construction Trades Program
October 2008
This hands-on program offered by Northwest College (Powell, WY) lines up with national building standards and addresses the needs of the local workforce. The courses are designed in consultation with Park County builders and contractors. Mountain Spirit Habitat for Humanity is partnering to provide practical hands-on application of concepts and real world experience for students.

Food Service & Food Safety Course
Dates to be announced...
This 52-hour training program will cover the basic skills needed to enter the food service field. Taught by professionals, the trainees will gain valuable knowledge and experience in: Food Safety, Kitchen Safety, Food Service, and Customer Service. In just 6 weeks, participants will gain the basic skills needed to increase their earning potential in the food industry!

Medical Transcription Course
Open Registration - One Year Completion Period
This comprehensive program includes online classes as well as traditional materials, actual client dictation, personal contact with a professional medical transcriptionist, and bi-monthly networking and training sessions. Students can enter and exit the program whenever it's convenient for them.  The program has open registration with a one year completion period.

Utility Locator Workshop
September 2008
Our utility locator training consists of classroom as well as hands-on field training.  The classroom segment is focused on theory and science allowing the students deeper understanding of how the instruments function.  This insight translates into cleaner, more accurate decisions in the field.
