Bring Your Own Horse
The college does not own horses — Students are encouraged to bring their own horses to campus.

Registered and non-registered horses of all breeds (except gaited horses) are acceptable. They must be sound and well-mannered. Horses in riding labs should be able to walk, trot and canter in a relaxed manner, know leads and work quietly with other horses. If you have questions about the appropriateness of your horse for the program, please talk with a faculty member.
Horses must have required immunizations to enter Northwest facilities. Upon acceptance to the program, you will receive detailed instructions about immunizations and transporting your horse.
