
Check List/Deadlines
- I have submitted my application for admission/readmission.
• Visit the Admissions site to apply online
- I
have been accepted for admission/readmission as a degree seeking
student. I must have a complete file in the Northwest College
Enrollment Services Office.
- I have academic transcripts on file with the Northwest College Admissions Office for all colleges I have previously attended.
- Northwest College has a copy of my final high school transcript or GED.
- I have completed the Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submitted it to the Department of Education processor or at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
• Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to submit online
- For males 18 years and older: I have registered with the Selective Service.
• Visit www.sss.gov to register online
- I
have completed the Northwest College Financial
Aid Student Information Form for Financial Aid.
- For
borrowers: I (or my parents) have completed a separate Stafford Loan Application/ Promissory Note online. If applicable, I (or
my parents) have contacted the NWC Financial Aid Office for a PLUS application
and begun that process.

Priority Deadline
Reminder: The priority deadline for applying for federal financial aid is:
Fall semester: March 1st
Spring semester: October 1st
If you submit paperwork after the priority date, your financial aid may not be ready the first day of classes and other payment arrangements must be made.
