Types of Aid

Although the primary responsibility of paying for a student's educational expenses rests with the student and the student's family, many families do not have sufficient resources available to meet these expenses. Student financial aid is intended to help families meet those expenses when their own resources fall short.

Financial aid is provided by various sources, including federal and state governments, Northwest College, community organizations, friends and alumni.
