New students register in the summer, although local high school students may register in the late spring when Northwest Admissions counselors visit their schools. Summer registration is a bit different from any other registration. The primary goal is to work out a class schedule. While some general advice may be given, advisors simply don't have time for extended conversations with students.
After a student is enrolled at Northwest, subsequent registrations happen during the semester. Classes are not held during an Advising Day so that students can meet with advisors and discuss their programs. Registration is open after advising day, and students may change their schedules or register via WebAdvisor.
