Graphic Standards Manual

Our eyes constantly take in messages - shapes, colors, sizes and their visual relationships. Our minds then take these messages and give them meaning - recognizing the familiar, puzzling over the unknown. The purpose of an organization's visual identity program is to use recognition of familiar shapes, color and size to effectively communicate with its audiences.

The Northwest College Graphic Standards Manual is our college's first formal effort to organize the various elements of Northwest's visual identity and document how to use them to build a consistent image. Consistent use will reaffirm our image, enhance our branding and save the college time and resources.

This manual is a working document that will continue to evolve over time. The offices of College Relations & Development and Printing Services welcome your feedback. Don't hesitate to let us know your thoughts about how to improve this document's usefulness.
