Antivirus Software

AVG Antivirus is a free antivirus program; no guarantees of full protection from viruses.  If you have Norton Antivirus, McAfee, or any other antivirus software on your machine not currently running you should either pay for that subscription (so that the virus definitions can be updated) or uninstall it. To uninstall old antivirus software, go to the Control Panel and select "Add/Remove Programs."  Select "Remove" next to your old antivirus program.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS ON ANY COMPUTER THAT BELONGS TO NORTHWEST COLLEGE.

We highly recommend that you have an antivirus program on your computer.  The network on the resident hall side attracts viruses.  Please exercise extreme caution when downloading from the internet (whether from a site or from an attachment in your email). Computing Services recommends Norton Antivirus, but, if you cannot afford to purchase Norton, please use the above link for free antivirus software with updates.
