  • Vivisimo meta-search engine — organizes hits into "like" topics or clusters
  • IncyWincy search engine — deep or invisible web search engine
  • CompletePlanet search engine — deep or invisible web search engine to find databases and specialty search engines
  • Yotophoto.com search engine — for free photos and images that you can use without guilt. The images are either in the public domain or released under licenses that permit you to use them.
  • Google search engine — to find a few good hits fast (retrieve popular sites and home pages; may not find many invisible web sites)
  • Google Scholar search engine — searches across many disciplines and scholarly, worldly sources
