- America's Historical Newspapers (1690-2000) (Newsbank) — Find news articles covering topics in government, politics, social issues, culture, literature discoveries, inventions and more from hundreds of primary sources . Newsbank also includes current events and special reports.
- Associates Programs Source Plus — From EBSCOHost, this database (also referred to as Vocational Studies Premier) is designed specifically for the research needs of two-year colleges, and provides comprehensive coverage of the most relevant associates program level content. The database covers subjects as wide-ranging as: alcohol & drug abuse counseling, audiology, biotechnology, computer & data processing, CAD, cosmetology, electrical technology, fashion design, forensics, graphic arts, health information technology, interior design, law enforcement & criminal justice, paralegal studies, robotics, travel & tourism, veterinary assisting, and dozens more.
- Business Source Premier — (via EbscoHost) Provides full text for nearly 8,200 serials; provides full text back to 1965 and searchable cited references back as far as 1998.

Criminal Justice Abstracts with Full Text (Ebsco)

Provided by Ebscohost, this databases is the full-text counterpart of Criminal Justice Abstracts, formerly a SAGE database. This resource includes bibliographic records and full text in magazines, journals, text books and monographs covering essential areas related to criminal justice and criminology.
- Criminal Justice Periodicals (Proquest) — This comprehensive database focuses on U.S. and international criminal justice journals, providing research support for students interested in careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law and industrial security.
- EDGAR — (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system) Access to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's database of information filed by companies that are required to do so by federal law (Public companies). SEC requires public companies to disclose meaningful financial and other information to the public so that potential investors can make informed decisions.
- EconLit (via Proquest) — This database is published by the American Economic Association and provides bibliographic coverage of a wide range of economics-related literature. The search platform is Proquest.
- Ethnic NewsWatch (through Proquest) — Included are journals, magazines, and newspapers from ethnic and minority presses, providing researchers access to essential, often overlooked perspectives.
- Films on Demand — Collection by Films Media Group (FMG) of online educational videos. These films are viewed through streaming video and can be linked by faculty into online classes. Flash is the recommended viewing software. If streaming is not smooth, try a lower playback file size (300, or 400).
- Gale Reference (GVRL) — All of your favorite reference books online. Search within one reference title, across several reference titles, or even across several other Gale databases. Note: GVRL may perform better with Firefox browser rather than Internet Explorer.
- Global Road Warrior — Created by World Trade Press, this database provides statistics on countries around the world: demographics, banking, culture, climate, images, transportation, health, maps, travel, embassies, etc.
- Government Documents — University of South Florida's gateway to Federal and some state government documents.

- HeinOnline — HeinOnline is a leader in providing information for legal research. It includes the Code of Federal Regulations, English Reports, and the European Center for Minority Issues. To enter HeinOnline from their home page, click on "Subscribers click here to enter" and accept their user agreement.
- Hoovers Online — Hoover's offers proprietary business information and delivers comprehensive insight and analysis about the companies, industries and people that drive the economy, along with tools to find and connect to businesses.
- Investor Words — Glossary of investing & accounting terms.
- JSTOR — Provides full-text to scholarly journals in administration, African-American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, business, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, law, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, population, psychology, public policy, sociology, statistics, US and International Music research and theory, and more... Current issues are not included.
- Key Business Ratios (D & B) — Key Business Ratios, from Dun & Bradstreet, provide business solvency, efficiency, and profitability for all SIC businesses.
- Lexis-Nexis — Lexis Nexis has full-text and abstracts of news, business, and legal information. Great source for regional, national, and international newspaper coverage.
- MasterFILE Premier — (via EbscoHost) Multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 2,000 general reference publications dating as far back as 1975. Also includes more than 360 full text reference books, 84,074 biographies, 86,135 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 107,135 photos, maps and flags.
- Mobile Search to Academic Search Premier & Other Ebsco Databases — Ebsco-provided databases formatted for your mobile phone, iTouch, iPhone, BlackBerry, Dell Axiom, Palm 750 and other devices. Your database choices include our nursing, business, and history databases, Agricola and GeoRef. Javascript must be enabled on your device (BlackBerry users see Enable Javascript on BlackBerry.)
- NACo — National Association of Counties provides governance, ordinances, news, isuues, and other county organizational and demographic information. Also provides a "Find a County" feature.
- OmniFile Full Text Select (via Ebscohost) — Full text access to magazine and journal articles. Covers about 1,700 periodicals, in all disciplines. From mid-1990s to the present.
- Proquest Central — An interdisciplinary database by Proquest; includes JBI (nursing evidence-based journals) and agricultural journals.
- Proquest Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) Complete — The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires that U.S. federal agencies or anyone receiving federal funding prepare detailed analyses of any of their actions that significantly affect the quality of the environment. Almost all developments, such as roads, houses and airports, have an impact on the environment. In recent years, EISs have looked increasingly at biodiversity. Most EIS documents will include a description of major habitats and a list of the plant and animal species present. They also pay particular attention to the presence of threatened species. Where the effects are considered significantly harmful to threatened species, an additional document, the Species Impact Statement (SIS), may also be prepared.
