- A & P Revealed — McGraw-Hill's Anatomy & Physiology Revealed is an interactive cadaver dissection experience. A & P uses cadaver photos combined with a layering technique that allows the user to peel away layers of the human body to reveal structures beneath the surface. A & P Revealed offers animations, radiologic imaging, audio pronunciations, and more. NOTE: A&P should now work from off-campus computers. Once you are connected to A&P you may be prompted by A&P to login again. Use your NWC login. It also may take up to 2 minutes for A&P to open. Please be patient. - Academic Search Premier — (via EbscoHost) Full text for nearly 4,700 publications, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed journals. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further.
- Alternative Healthwatch — (via EbscoHost) Full text for 180 publications, many peer-reviewed journals; subject areas cover complementary and alternative medicine dating back to 1990.
- America's Historical Newspapers (1690-2000) (Newsbank) — Find news articles covering topics in government, politics, social issues, culture, literature discoveries, inventions and more from hundreds of primary sources . Newsbank also includes current events and special reports.
- Associates Programs Source Plus — From EBSCOHost, this database (also referred to as Vocational Studies Premier) is designed specifically for the research needs of two-year colleges, and provides comprehensive coverage of the most relevant associates program level content. The database covers subjects as wide-ranging as: alcohol & drug abuse counseling, audiology, biotechnology, computer & data processing, CAD, cosmetology, electrical technology, fashion design, forensics, graphic arts, health information technology, interior design, law enforcement & criminal justice, paralegal studies, robotics, travel & tourism, veterinary assisting, and dozens more.
- CINAHL — Definitive database for nursing and allied health research. Find information on Audiology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Consumer Health.
- Cochrane Library — Reliable and up-to-date information on the effects of health care. Published on a quarterly basis, this database is designed to provide information and evidence to support decisions taken in health care and to inform those receiving care.
- Credo Reference — General reference source, aggregating content of major subjects from the "best publishers of reference."

Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR) (via STATRef!)
- Films on Demand — Collection by Films Media Group (FMG) of online educational videos. These films are viewed through streaming video and can be linked by faculty into online classes. Flash is the recommended viewing software. If streaming is not smooth, try a lower playback file size (300, or 400).
- Gale Reference (GVRL) — All of your favorite reference books online. Search within one reference title, across several reference titles, or even across several other Gale databases. Note: GVRL may perform better with Firefox browser rather than Internet Explorer.
- Global Road Warrior — Created by World Trade Press, this database provides statistics on countries around the world: demographics, banking, culture, climate, images, transportation, health, maps, travel, embassies, etc.

- Health Source - Nursing/Academic Edition — (via EbscoHost) 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Features abstracts and indexing for nearly 850 journals.
- LearningExpressLibrary "Learn a Test" (Practice Exams) — Free online academic and licensing practice tests and exams. Learning Express offers over 27 tests including GED, SAT, TOEFL, Nursing, GRE, Firefighter, Civil Service, U.S. Citizenship, Writing. Login using your library card number and choose your own password.
- Lexis-Nexis — Lexis Nexis has full-text and abstracts of news, business, and legal information. Great source for regional, national, and international newspaper coverage.
- MedicLatina — (via EbscoHost) Spanish language collection of medical research and investigative journals published by renowned Latin American medical publishers; full text for nearly 100 peer-reviewed medical journals.

- PsychiatryOnline - DSM Premium — From the American Psychiatric Association (APA), PsychiatricOnline includes the DSM Library and several leading journals and texbooks in psychiatry and psychology.
- Reader's Guide Retrospective: 1890-1982 — Wilson's Reader's Guide Index provides article citations written between 1890-1982. This resource cross-links to the library's Article Linker which searches for full-text articles. Now provided by EbscoHost.
