  • New Database A & P Revealed — McGraw-Hill's Anatomy & Physiology Revealed is an interactive cadaver dissection experience. A & P uses cadaver photos combined with a layering technique that allows the user to peel away layers of the human body to reveal structures beneath the surface. A & P Revealed offers animations, radiologic imaging, audio pronunciations, and more.

  • Academic Search Premier — (via EbscoHost) Full text for nearly 4,700 publications, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed journals. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further.

  • Access Science — An Online Encyclopedia of Science and Technology

  • Agricola — (via EbscoHost) Contains bibliographic records from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Library. Coverage back to 1970 and includes more than 2.5 million citations. The citations are comprised of journal articles, monographs, theses, patents, software, audiovisual materials, and technical reports related to agriculture.

    Trial Expires Dec. 31, 2008. From EBSCOHost,  this database  (also referred to as Vocational Studies Premier) is designed specifically for the research needs of two-year colleges, and provides comprehensive coverage of the most relevant associates program level content.  The database covers subjects as wide-ranging as: alcohol & drug abuse counseling, audiology, biotechnology, computer & data processing, CAD, cosmetology, electrical technology, fashion design, forensics, graphic arts, health information technology, interior design, law enforcement & criminal justice, paralegal studies, robotics, travel & tourism, veterinary assisting, and dozens more.


  • GeoRef — (via EbscoHost) Produced by the American Geological Institute, this database is a comprehensive geoscience database providing journal coverage in subject areas such as mineralogy and crystallography, general mineralogy, mineralogy of silicates, and mineralogy of non-silicates.

  • Greenfile (Ebsco) — From EBSCO, Greenfile offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more.

  • JSTOR — Provides  full-text to scholarly journals in administration, African-American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, business, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, law, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, population, psychology, public policy, sociology, statistics,  US and International Music research and theory, and more... Current issues are not included.

  • SIRS Researcher — Full text articles from newspapers, magazines, and government  publications. Especially good for current events and leading topics in the news.

  • Science Direct: College Edition — Peer-reviewed journals, books, handbooks, and reference books covering scientific, medical and technical information.

  • Serials Locator — Have a journal citation but need to find which database carries the full text? Search for the journal's title in this electronic journal locator tool created by SerialsSolutions.

  • Water Resources Data System — (WRDS) Wyoming hydrological and climatological data plus a water resources library.

  • Wilson OmniFile Full Text Select — Full text access to magazine and journal articles. Covers about 1,700 periodicals, in all disciplines. From mid-1990s to the present.

  • Wyoming Geographic Information Advisory Council (WGIAC) — Geographic and spatial data.

  • Wyoming Inventors Database — Indexes United States patents in which one or more of the inventors were from Wyoming.
