Carrie Gasch
NWC Director of Annual Giving and 1977 Northwest Alumna Carrie (Nafus) Gasch died Nov. 10 in Cody after a two-year battle with cancer.A longtime Codyite, Carrie joined the college's staff in 2000, working closely with the NWC Alumni Association and NWC Foundation Boards of Directors. She brought great energy and creativity to the perennially successful Annual Campaign and phonathon as part of Alumni Scholarship Drive. Her personal warmth, amiability and charm endeared her to students and staff.
Carrie's last wish was that memorial gifts be used to create an endowed nursing scholarship at Northwest College in her name, so that she may continue to help students long after she is gone. She selected nursing because she knew the critical role nurses have in delivering quality healthcare.
