NWC changes recruiting practices in response to concern about LDS letter

POWELL, Wyo. - Northwest College President Paul Prestwich announced today a change in the college's formal recruiting practices with respect to religion. The change was a direct result of reaction to a recruiting letter Prestwich sent in February to high school students who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).

NWC volleyball coach presented AVCA "Thirty Under 30 Award"

POWELL, Wyo. - Flavia Siqueira, who's racked up a 68-20 record in her two years at the helm of the Northwest College Volleyball Team, was given a Thirty Under 30 Award by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).

Wyoming community college trustees honor Jim Vogt and Dick Nelson

POWELL, Wyo. - The Wyoming Association of Community College Trustees (WACCT) presented five statewide leadership awards to community college employees and volunteers Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Wyoming Community College Conference in Cheyenne.
