Auditions September 14-16 for community theater production
POWELL, Wyo. - The Big Horn Basin community is invited to audition Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 14, 15 and 16, for “Dearly Beloved,” a country western wedding farce to be staged in December at Northwest College. Open auditions will held from 6:30-9 p.m. all three evenings at the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium in Powell.

Trapper home volleyball games can all be watched on NWC-TV
POWELL, Wyo. - Trapper volleyball fans can catch all the action again this year on NWC-TV. The student-produced college television station plans to air each home game, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7, when the Trappers host Sheridan College at 7 p.m. in Cabre Gym.

BBHC partners with Northwest College for western art class
Students and aficionados of western art have a chance to delve deeper into the subject—and earn three college credits—with this fall’s Art of the American West class through Northwest College. The course takes place at the college’s Cody Center and at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center on Thursdays beginning August 26, 6:30 – 9:10 p.m. and is taught by Acting Curator Christine Brindza of the Whitney Gallery of Western Art at the Historical Center.

Located 70 miles from Yellowstone National Park, Northwest College is a two-year, residential college offering transfer and technical programs of study that blend traditional arts and sciences with emerging technologies.

POWELL,Wyo. - Local students were among the 242 students who graduated from Northwest College in May. Northwest College, located in Powell, Wyo., is a two-year, residential college offering transfer programs based upon the traditional arts and sciences, and occupational programs which include strong general education requirements.

Northwest College's fall enrollment growth outpaced other Wyoming community colleges
POWELL, Wyo. - Northwest College’s several-year pattern of modest enrollment increases and occasional decreases was shattered last fall when its student numbers topped the state’s growth charts, according to a recent enrollment report released by the Wyoming Community College Commission (WCCC).
