BBHC partners with Northwest College for western art class
Students and aficionados of western art have a chance to delve deeper into the subject—and earn three college credits—with this fall’s Art of the American West class through Northwest College. The course takes place at the college’s Cody Center and at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center on Thursdays beginning August 26, 6:30 – 9:10 p.m. and is taught by Acting Curator Christine Brindza of the Whitney Gallery of Western Art at the Historical Center.

NCOC takes stage for May 1 concert
POWELL, Wyo. - May Day music at Northwest College features three winners in the Young Artist Competition when the Northwest Civic Orchestra takes the stage in a Saturday evening concert. The May 1 orchestra concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Nelson Performing Arts Center Auditorium.

NWC photo student gives back to community with photo exhibit
POWELL, Wyo. - A Northwest College photography student with plans to leave Powell is first giving back to the community with "Been Here for Generations." The exhibit of environmental portraits of Powell farming families opens with a 5 p.m. reception Friday, April 9, at Homesteader Museum.

U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors return to Powell for April 10 concert
POWELL, Wyo. - The United States Army's premier touring jazz orchestra, the Jazz Ambassadors, return to Powell to perform in a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10, in the Powell High School Auditorium.

NWC Jazz Festival features concerts by Austrian brass ensemble and NWC alum's vocal group
POWELL, Wyo. - The 27th annual Northwest Jazz Festival gets underway Wednesday-Friday, March 17-19, with performances by an Austrian brass ensemble and a Northwest College alum's vocal group. Concerts are scheduled all three days.
