Course Requirements

Associate of Science Degree in Allied Health


Allied health professionals are health care practitioners with formal education and clinical training who are credentialed through certification, registration and/or licensure. They collaborate with physicians and other members of the health care team to deliver high quality patient care services for the identification, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disabilities and disorders.

Students must complete one three-credit course and one four-credit course from the Core Electives list above.

MINIMUM CREDITS FOR DEGREE 64 credits

Pre-baccalaureate students must confer with an advisor before regarding the Allied Health program. Depending on the college/university, additional courses such as nutrition, chemistry, biology and/or public speaking may also be required before admittance into the upper division of the chosen baccalaureate program.
