Preparing for Online Courses

Online courses are available to students on the first day of classes and not earlier. Beforehand, you should…
  1. Test your login
  2. Configure your browser

Test Your Login

Make sure your user name and password work before the first day of class. After registering and prior to the first day of class, visit the Need Help Logging In? link  to find information about your username and password and be able to test it.

Visit MyNWC , put in your User Name and Password at the top of the page, then select the "LOG IN" button for WebMail .  You should be taken directly to your inbox for your Northwest College e-mail account. If you have difficulty, contact Computing Services at 307.754.6080 (800.560.4692, TTY 307.754.6225) to have them verify your username/password.

NOTE: You won’t be able to login to your class until the first day.

Configure Your Browser

It is very important to configure your computer browser before your online class starts. Visit Online Blackboard CE Help for text instructions or view the tutorials that walk you through the process. Computers in all college labs are already configured.
