Excursion Trips
Several of NWC courses offer travel opportunities to Northwest students. Backpacking trips to Yellowstone National Park and surrounding National Forest areas are scheduled each fall. In the spring, backpacking and river trips go to the Desert Southwest. World class natural resources in our area provide access to wild caves, white water rivers, rock and ice climbing and wilderness. In addition, many Adventure Education events are conducted on Challenge Course facilities located on campus and at the A.L. Mickelson Field Station, a remote laboratory located in the Absaroka Mountains west of campus.
