Scholarship Day is December 1, 2008
New, degree seeking students are invited to participate. We look forward to learning more about you during our interview/ auditions for the Academic, Activity-Talent, and Athletic Scholarships. Attending Scholarship Day is best, but not required.
Application Process
- Getting set up to participate in Scholarship Day 2008 is easy! Start by:
- Attend Scholarship Day 2008
- Provisional Award Letters are sent late December, early January and as awarded thereafter.
- Final Award Letters are sent after you provide documentation you meet award criteria (final high school transcript or official GED or ACT scores).

- Personally interview and audition for NWC Academic, Activity-Talent, and Athletic Scholarships
- Meet people and make contacts
- Socialize and share meals
- Helpful sessions for your family members
Accommodations
A motel list will be sent when we receive your scholarship application.
Meals
Student meals are free. Parents/ family members are invited to enjoy the free continental breakfast and pay $5/person for lunch.

Academic Scholarships
Academic Scholarships are available for all NWC AA, AS, and AAS degree programs. You must major in a program to apply.
Other Requirements:
• enroll full time, and
• have at least a 2.0 GPA.
Activity-Talent Scholarships
You may apply for as many Activity-Talent Scholarships as you
wish:
• Forensics
• Livestock Judging
• French or Spanish
• Music – instrumental or vocal
• News or Web Broadcasting
• Spirit Squad
Athletics Scholarships
