Hathaway Scholarships

Qualifying & Eligibility

Four levels of the Hathaway Scholarship are available to students at NWC: Career, Opportunity, Performance, and Honors.  Please see the our Admissions web section for admission information.

GOOD NEWS!! If you lost your Hathaway Scholarship due to failure to maintain continuous enrollment, not completing the required number of college level credits (satisfactory academic progress), or not meeting the cumulative GPA requirements, and you have not exceeded the six year time frame for use, you may reinstate your scholarship eligibility after the first academic term or summer session in which you complete the following criteria:

1. You paid for tuition and fees for at least 6 college level credits for one semester at your own expense
2. You must successfully complete all college level credits in which you enroll for that semester and/or:
3. Achieve at least a 2.25 cumulative GPA

If you did not maintain continuous enrollment (fall semester to spring semester), to regain eligibility you must successfully complete an academic term (summer does not count) as either a full or part-time student, whichever is applicable as well as meeting the GPA and completed credits requirements listed above.
