Open Door Office

Purpose:

Open Door Office is a student-centered referral center designed to connect Northwest College students with individuals, facilities, and services available to help them succeed in their educational efforts.

Open Door is for STUDENTS:

• We've Got Answers.
• Don't know who to talk to?
• Thinking about career choices or transfer challenges?

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 12-6 p.m.
Friday 12-2 p.m.

Staffing:

The office is staffed by faculty and administrative personnel on a rotating basis.

Services:

Open Door referral services include contacting students with matters concerning:

• Probation
• Suspension
• Early Alert (non-counseling)
• Transfer to another college/university
• Career selection
• Advising Assistance
• Exit Interviews/Change of status
• Enrollment in 2 or more Developmental Courses
• College Studies
• GED grads or low high school grades/ACT scores
• Degree audits
• Other issues as needed
